Eight Canadian musicians will bring their own songs and musical styles together for an evening of eclectic Canadian/world music. The musicians will present a shared vision of each other’s songs and discuss, musically, what it means to be Canadian.
World Music Kitchen Party is presented by World Folk Music Ottawa with the assistance of the Ontario Arts Council, Socan Foundation and The Ottawa Folklore Centre.
WOFOMO was created in 2013 to offer music programs, music projects, scholarships, and concerts, focusing on world and folk music traditions, to underserved communities and to facilitate musical interactions with new Canadians from diverse backgrounds.
